Matthew 7:13-14 teaches us that there are many ways to Hell, butonly one way to Heaven. Jesus said in John 14:6… “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.“
Jesus clearly stated in John 14:6… “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.“
2nd Thessalonians 1:8 WARNS… “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Your soul’s eternal destiny, whether you will be happy or indescribably miserable, hinges upon what you do with the Gospel (i.e., whether you obey the Gospel, or reject it).Obeying the Gospel is very easy…
First, you must realize that you are a sinner, under the condemnation of God’s Law (Romans 3:19). You are GUILTY in God’s eyes–a sinful person who deserves to be cast into Hellfire as punishment for your violations of God’s Law.
Humanity is guilty… “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.” We are all sinners (Romans 3:10,23).
Second, repent, i.e., turn to Jesus Christ in faith, as your Savior, asking Him to forgive your sins, and take you to Heaven when you die. Acts 20:21 states, “Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.“
It is the blood of Jesus that takes away our sins (1st Peter 1:18,19); NOT a prayer, self-righteousness, or a religious experience. Self-righteousness is a road to Hell (Romans 10:3-4; Mark 7:6-13). If you’ll simply believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, because of the blood He shed for your sins, then you will be saved (Acts 16:31; Romans 10:13).
One of the most common perversions of the Gospel is to ADD something to it.For example: Roman Catholics ADD good works and the keeping of the Seven Sacraments to faith for a person to be saved.This is false religion because they have perverted the Biblical Gospel.
Romans 4:5 plainly states, “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.“
The Catholic Church also requires their followers to submit to the authority of the Church, claiming that the only way to Jesus is through their organization.That is a lie of the Devil.Christianity began as a relationship with Jesus Christ.
“Ye must be born again” (John 3:3), i.e., you must have He (Jesus) who is the beginning (Revelation 1:8) born in you.
When you place your faith in the SEED of God’s Word (1st Peter 1:23), by obeying the Gospel, the Holy Spirit of God works the miracle of regeneration in you.You are BORN for the second time, but this time SPIRITUALLY into God’s family.
Salvation is of God, and we have nothing to do with meriting, maintaining, or keeping it. Our part is to believe on Christ, trusting in His finished work of redemption to pay for our sins with His precious blood.
Other religious groups which pervert the Gospel by ADDING works to faith are Church of Christ, Hutterites, Amish, Lutherans, United Church of Christ, Jehovah’s Witness, Mormons, Eastern Orthodox,Anglican, Baha’i, Lordship Salvationists, Seventh Day Adventists, and many others.
Lutherans for example require baptism to be saved, while hypocritically declaring that baptism does not save.Their reasoning is that water baptism itself does not save, but saving faith is manifest through the act of being baptized.Nothing could be further from the truth.
Romans 10:13 DOESN’T say, “For whosoever shall be baptized shall be saved”; NO, RATHER, it says… “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” There’s NO mention of baptism!
In 1st John 5:13 the Apostle John said, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.“
Carefully notice that John NEVER mentions baptism in the Epistles of 1st, 2nd, or 3rd John. Yet John says he wrote the Epistle of 1st John so that we could KNOW THAT WE ARE SAVED.Now if baptism were required for salvation, why DIDN’T John mention it even once? The answer is obvious–baptism has absolutely nothing to do with being born-again!
I took the time to expose Baptismal Regeneration (i.e., the teaching that baptism is required to go to Heaven) here because MOST so-called “Christian” churches today mandate baptism for salvation.This is unscriptural and a sure road to Hell.Why a road to Hell? James 2:17,“Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” Yet they ignorantly fail to mention James 2:21, “Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?“
Folks, Abraham offered up Isaac in Genesis chapter 22!!! Do you know which chapter of Genesis records Abraham being SAVED? Genesis 15:6 … “And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.“
Clearly, James is NOT talking about Abraham’s salvation (the ROOT of his faith); but rather, the FRUIT of Abraham’s faith, i.e., being justified in the eyes of men. With God we are justified by faith, because God sees the heart (1st Samuel 16:7); but with men we can only be justified by works, because men cannot see our heart as God can.
James was NOT speaking about salvation, which is clearly evidenced by the fact that Abraham didn’t offer up Isaac until several years after being saved.In Romans, Paul addresses the ROOT of our faith; but James addresses the FRUIT of our faith. MANY false doctrines are being taught today because of this horrible misunderstanding of James 2:17.

What a frightening Scripture… THEY HAVE NO REST DAY NOR NIGHT. The unsaved who die in their sins will be cast into the Lake of Fire in eternity.The Bible warns that the wicked will be tormented with flaming fire by God Himself in vengeance (2nd Thessalonians 1:8-9).They will suffer day and night without rest.
Every person in this world sleeps at some time, resting the body.But in Hell there will be no rest from the pain, misery and suffering.There will be weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 13:49-50, “So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”
Repeatedly the Bible teaches that the just and the wicked go to DIFFERENT places in eternity. They do NOT all go to the same eternal destiny. Psalm 9:17 makes this clear, “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” If the righteous and the wicked go to the same place in the grave, then Psalm 9:17 would make no sense at all.But it does make sense if you believe the Bible’s teaching of eternal damnation in the Lake of Fire for all Christ-rejecters.
The Bible is such an awesome Book, filled with precious Scriptures such as Proverb 14:32, “The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death.” As born-again believers we have hope in our death. We do not fear what’s beyond the grave. Our complete trust is in Jesus Christ!
Hebrews 10:31, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”
Isaiah 45:9, “Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! …”
Isaiah 13:11, And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.”
Psalms 9:19-20, “Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight. Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.”
If you refuse to fear God now, you will fear God in eternity… YOU WILL FEAR GOD IN ETERNITY! Matthew 10:28, “…fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” It is not my place to say who went to Heaven or Hell, but the Bible makes very clear that anyone who dies in their sins without having believed on Jesus as the Christ is doomed.
Many victims of horrible accidents are deliberately placed by doctors into a coma to allow the body time to heal without the patient suffering inexplicable, excruciating, physical pain and emotional suffering There won’t be any escape nor relief from the torments of Hell.The Bible says that there will be NO REST DAY NOR NIGHT in Hell from all the horrifying cries of the damned, from the agonizing blood curdling pain caused by being boiled alive in molten sulfur.
Interestingly, sulfuric acid is NOT flammable, having no flash point (the temperature at which something ignites). However, pure sulfur is certainly flammable and has a flash point of about 334 to 370 degrees Fahrenheit.
The boiling point of sulfur is 444 degrees Fahrenheit. Revelation 21:8 describes Hell as “the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.” You can use any dictionary to look up the word “brimstone” and it means exactly what it does in the Greek… SULFUR!
It ought to “scare Hell into you” my friend if you are not saved.The Bible describes Hell in literal terms, warning Christ-rejecting humanity exactly what to expect. Hell is a place of molten sulfur, i.e., a “lake of fire” (Revelation 20:15). A boiling pot of water is only 212 degrees Fahrenheit. Be afraid Christ-rejecters… BE VERY AFRAID!

Colossians 2:9 states concerning Jesus, “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.“ Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and willingly went to the cross to be crucified for our sins (Isaiah 7:14; 2nd Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 12:2). Jesus died , was buried, and rose again 3-days later (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). He ascended into Heaven, where He applied His LITERAL blood to the heavenly Mercy Seat (Acts 1:9-11; Hebrews 9:12).
Whom do you that Jesus is:liar, lunatic or Lord? If you are willing to come to Jesus as a guilty, hell-deserving sinner, under the condemnation of God’s Law (Romans 3:10,19-23; 6:23)—then you can be saved simply by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior (Acts 16:31), to forgive your sins and save you.
It is Jesus’ literal blood on the Mercy Seat in Heaven that washes all our sins away (1st Peter 1:18,19), by our faith in the redeeming work of Christ (Galatians 3:26). Colossians 1:14 wonderfully states… “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.”Amen!

God has given the sole choice and ability to be saved to each and every individual. The choice to receive or reject Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, is a personal decision that you must make alone. No priest can do it for you; no church can do it for you.
You must personally acknowledge your guilt of sin before God and BELIEVE on Jesus Christ to forgive your sins.That’s Biblical salvation.You come to Jesus to be forgiven of your sins. If you think some Catholic priest can absolve your sins, then you will burn in Hell with this untoward generation.
Although the precious Lord Jesus Christ is the only One Who can save you, the ultimate decision of whether you’re going to escape the fires of Hell is YOURS alone to make. Hence, the meaning of SAVE YOURSELVES in Acts 2:40. Christ will only save those who come to Him. John 5:40, “And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.”
Acts 2:40, “…Save yourselves from this untoward generation.” Again, the word “untoward” in Acts 2:40 means “perverse, crooked”; and that is exactly what America has become today.The Bible says, SAVE YOURSELF FROM THIS PERVERSE GENERATION. And then the next verse in Acts 2:41 tells us that 3,000 souls were saved that day and added to the Church.
The answer is not rehabilitation, nor education, nor reformation, nor legislation; but rather, REGENERATION through the redeeming power of the Gospel by faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 1:16).Ye must be born again (John 3:5). To be “born-again” means to have He Who is the Beginning (Jesus) born in You! That is the hope of America!
No one has to go to Hell. The only people who go to Hell are those who make their bed there, just as Psalm 139:8 teaches. We read in Matthew 25:41, “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.” God never intended for one human being to enter into Hell. It is mankind who makes his bed in Hell, choosing to burn in the flames of God’s vengeance forever (2nd Thessalonians 1:8,9).
Don’t make the mistake of believing that skeptics and naysayers would convert if only they had more evidence or proof…
“Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead” (Luke 16:27-31).
If a person will not listen to the Word of God (i.e., Moses and the prophets), then nothing is going to convince them of the truth. Romans 1:20 tells us that nature itself PROVES, beyond any reasonable doubt, that there is a God… “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.”
Oh, listen my friend, you will have no valid excuse on Judgment Day when you stand trial before God (Hebrews 9:27; Romans 14:12). If you die in your sins, you will go to Hell (John 8:24). You need to have your sins blotted out; but you cannot do anything of your own merit or self-righteousness to remedy the problem (Isaiah 64:6).
No matter how much good you accomplish in your earthly life, you’ll still have sins on your record against you. The answer is Jesus Christ, Who paid for your sins in full with His own precious blood… “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot” (1st Peter 1:18,19).
We need HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS to have our sins forgiven… “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33). 2nd Corinthians 5:21 states, “For he [God the Father] hath made him [God the Son] to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” This is why we read in Romans 4:5, “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” Amen!
Any sinner can be saved and go to Heaven because Jesus took our sins upon Himself; and when we place our faith in Him as our Savior, He places His righteousness upon our record. This is called IMPUTATION. We go to Heaven not because of our own self-righteousness; but rather, because of the righteousness of Jesus Christ.
The Bible tells us in Isaiah 5:14, “Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.”
Hell is getting bigger and bigger every day, being occupied by tens-of-millions of people every day who die in their sins without Jesus Christ as their Savior. Please don’t make your bed in Hellfire. If you do go to Hell, it will only be because you turned down the gift of eternal life (Romans 6:23), which God offers exclusively through His Son Jesus Christ (John 3:16; Acts 10:43).
SAVE YOURSELF FROM THIS PERVERSE AND CROOKED GENERATION. If you go along to get along, then you’ll end up damned in the Lake of Fire for ever. There were untold multitudes of unbelievers in Noah’s time, who heard Noah preach the Gospel for 120-years; but not one person repented toward God to be saved from their sins. Only Noah and his immediate family entered the ark and were saved.
The message hasn’t changed in 4,500 years since Noah. The Apostle Peter preached the same message 2,500 years later at Pentecost:“…Save yourselves from this untoward generation” (Acts 2:40).
And I preach the same message to you today in the year of our Lord.SAVE YOURSELF FROM THIS CROOKED AND PERVERSE GENERATION!!! Time is running out.
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” -Revelation 21:8
The Bible, God’s Word, clearly proclaims that there is a “second death.” The first death is the physical death, when a man’s soul and spirit are separated from his body. The second death is a physical and spiritual death, suffering in the Lake of Fire for all eternity. We see this clear distinction in Matthew 10:28, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”
There is much debate over the word “hell,” but a careful study of the Bible leaves no doubt as to it’s true meaning. Psalm 9:17 warns, “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” This Scripture PROVES that “hell” is not just the grave.
If “hell” were only referring to the “grave,” then why would God say that the wicked shall be turned into hell? Do not also the righteous go to the same grave, if “hell” just means grave? As you can see, the Bible would make no sense if “hell” were just the grave. God warns that the wicked shall be turned into hell, meaning fire and torment.
The Word of God plainly states in 1st Thessalonians 1:8, “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.” What’s there not to understand? “Flaming fire” sounds hot to me!
Jesus said in Matthew 25:41, “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire…” “Everlasting” means forever. Jesus said again in Mark 9:45-46, “…to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.”
Biblically, Hell is a PLACE of woeful suffering and eternal torment. The Word of God makes numerous references to Hell fire, torment, and eternal suffering. But you say, “I don’t believe in Hell.”
Revelation 21:8 lists unbelievers as part of the group who will be cast into the Lake of Fire. Please consider carefully the prophecy in Revelation 20:11-15…
“And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
The Lake of Fire is the Second Death.What does the Bible mean when it says that “death and hell” were cast into the Lake of Fire. Well, “hell” (Hebrew: “Sheol,” which is the equivalent of the Greek: “Hades”) is a place within the earth where the dead go when they die. In the Bible “hell” has different meanings.
Sometimes it refers to “Gehenna” which is the Lake of Fire.In 2nd Peter 2:4 “hell” means “Tartarus” and is a special place of punishment for certain fallen angels (demons). Hell (Hades) is composed of two compartments: Torment and Paradise.
The Old Testament saints went to paradise when they died; but all saints go to Heaven today.The unsaved today still go to the place of torment, in Hades.All those who die today without Christ will go to the place of torment (Hades), and one day in the future WILL be cast into the Lake of Fire (Gehenna) after The Great White Throne of Judgment.
“Death” in Revelation 20:14 simply means that once the last soul is cast into the Lake of Fire, death will be no more … and the memory of the wicked shall be forgotten, “The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot” (Proverb 10:7).
Do you want to be forgotten and abandoned in the fires of Hell forever?If you think this earthly life is unfair, you haven’t seen anything yet! But God is fair. No one has to go to Hell. Jesus said in John 6:37, “…him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” What a Wonderful Saviour! The choice is yours alone to make.
Most Bible students refer to the second death as “spiritual death.” However, we were already spiritually dead the day we were born. In Genesis 2:17 God instructed Adam and Eve, “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”
When Adam and Eve sinned they didn’t die physically, they died spiritually.Romans 5:12 informs us that Adam’s sin allowed sin to enter the human race, bringing death into the world, and so death passed upon all men.Thus, we’re already spiritually dead from birth. By nature, the human race is spiritually dead. It is for this very reason that a man MUST be born again if he is to enter into the Kingdom of God (John 3:3).
The Great White Throne of Judgment mentioned in Revelation 20:11 will be a judgment OF THE DEAD.When a lost sinner dies, leaving this world without Christ, he enters into eternity DEAD–he is now dead physically and spiritually.
Notice what Revelation 20:12 says, “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God…”The “second death” will immediately follow The Great White Throne Judgment, when the dead shall be cast into the Lake of Fire to pay for their sins.
The lake of Fire is an eternal prison sentence, with no hope of parole.The first death is when Adam sinned, and mankind’s soul was separated from God spiritually; but in the second death, mankind will be separated body, soul, and spirit from God for all eternity. The second death is the final doom of the damned, the dead.
If you are not a born-again Christian, then you are ALREADY DEAD spiritually.
Do you have Jesus? Have your sins been forgiven? Has the precious blood of Christ washed away your sins (1st Peter 1:18-19)? Have you believed upon the name of the only begotten Son of God (John 3:16)? Listen friend, you are a sinner, and so am I (Romans 3:10,23).
We all deserve to burn in Hell for eternity because of our sins (Romans 5:12, 6:23). But praise be to God, Jesus paid a debt He did not owe because we owed a debt we could not pay (Romans 5:12). God Almighty came to this sin-cursed world in the form of a man, Jesus Christ (1st Timothy 3:16).He was despised and rejected of man, ridiculed and mocked, beaten and crucified as a criminal for no crime other than preaching the Truth (John 8:45).
Have you called (trusted) upon the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:10-12; Romans 10:13)? All you have to do to be saved is to come to the Lord Jesus Christ as a Hell-deserving sinner, and believe upon Him, to forgive all your sins through the blood that He shed.You don’t need to die the second death.If you’re born twice, you die only once; but if your born only once, then you die twice. In other words, “Ye must be born again” (John 3:3).
When a lost sinner comes to Christ for the forgiveness of sins, believing upon Jesus that He is the Son of God–that person becomes born again, and the Holy Spirit of God enters the body.All the religion and good works in the world won’t spare a sinner the second death.Your sins MUST be forgiven, and that can only happen in Christ the Lord.

This is one of the clearest Scriptures in the Word of God revealing that the unsaved will burn in Hell forever. Many people today foolishly deny the existence of Hell. Revelation 21:8 indicts them, stating that the unbelieving will be castinto the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.
The word “vengeance” in 2nd Thessalonians 1:8 is the Greekekdikesis and means “a revenging punishment.”Despite the modern apostate notion that a loving God would never allow anyone to suffer in the flames of Hell for eternity, 2nd Thessalonians 1:8 clearly states the opposite. The Bible, in no uncertain terms, tells us that those who fail to obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ will suffer the flames of Hell, the wrath of God’s vengeance, forever.
Few people today desire the truth.I used to believe that people were just ignorant, and if they could only hear the truth of God’s Word they’d repent and get saved. Boy, was I wrong. The truth is that most people are willingly ignorant of the truth, because of the wickedness of their heart (Jeremiah 17:9).
Jesus stated in Mark 7:9… “Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.“ You see, most religious people have churchianity without Christianity.They deliberately reject the truth of God’s Word, following man’s religious traditions instead.
Romans 1:18 states, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.“ Lost sinners have the truth, but they refuse to obey God’s Word. Romans 1:20 tells us, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.“ There are no excuses!!!
The Law of God condemns mankind (Romans 3:10,19,23).We are all guilty sinners, deserving of eternal punishment (Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:11-15). Many people have a hard time comprehending this because instead of comparing themselves to a Holy God, they compare themselves with other sinners. If we compare our self with God’s Law, then we become woefully guilty.If a man rejects the Gospel (i.e., the good news of Jesus Christ and His work of redemption), then he is heavy laden with his own sins.
According to Titus 2:11 everyone has a chance to get saved, “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.” If a person; therefore, who has willingly rejected the Gospel, dies in the abundance of their sins, then God will take vengeance upon that person with flaming fire because of their rebellion and sinful pride.That person will be punished in Hell for each and every sin ever committed in their lifetime.
Carefully notice in Revelation 20:12 that the unsaved will be judged from the BOOKS… “and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.“ Oh! Listen my friend, what happens in Vegas is recorded in Heaven.
The vengeance which God will take in flaming fire upon the wicked in Hell will be punishment for their sins.If God allows suffering in this present world, then why would anyone foolishly believe that God won’t allow torment in the afterlife?
Are you willing to go against the God of the universe, by rejecting the plain warnings from the Scriptures? Are you willing to gamble with your soul’s eternal destiny based upon your own finite and ignorant human reasoning?
Listen friend, the Word of God existed a long time before we were ever born.Think about that.Souls throughout the centuries have either believed or rejected the Word of God and the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.Where do you take your position on this matter? I am on the Lord’s side, believing every Word of the precious Bible, and trusting upon Jesus Christ’s shed blood to take away my sins (1st Peter 1:18-19). What a Saviour!
Do you know, those folks on the sinking Titanic felt a sudden urgency for God. No doubt, many of them cried out in utter desperation to God; yet died in their sins without Christ and went to Hell.You see, many people come running to God the Father when disaster strikes; but the Word of God plainly warns us that there is ONLY one way to God the Father, and that is through God the Son; namely, Jesus Christ.
John 14:6… “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.“
Could the Bible be any clearer? I think not.
Jude 1:7, “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha …are set forth for an example, suffering the VENGEANCE OF ETERNAL FIRE”
The Bible speaks of the “vengeance of eternal fire.” Hell is forever. 2nd Thessalonians 1:8-9 warns, “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power.”
Again we read in the Bible about God “taking vengeance” with “flaming fire,” to be “punished with everlasting destruction.”(Note: All Scriptures references are only to the trustworthy King James Bible)Clearly, the Bible speaks of more than just physical death, for God could simply leave one’s dead body in the grave.
Instead, Revelation 20:13 teaches that the dead will be raised up to stand in judgment before God, “And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell [Greek: Hades] delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.”
This is The Great White Throne of Judgment, only for the unsaved, the wicked, who die in their sins without Jesus Christ.Revelation 20:15, “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire [Greek: Gehenna].” This is the Second Death, eternal destruction from the presence of God.
Think about that! The Word of God plainly teaches that Hell is punishment, and that it involves being tormented by God’s vengeance in flames of fire FOREVER.Perhaps you have a hard time accepting this Biblical teaching.
May I say, dare you risk your eternal destiny based upon your feelings instead of the written Words of God? I didn’t write the Bible, I’m just telling you what it says. Perhaps no one has ever warned you from the Scriptures concerning the truth about Hell. I mean no unkindness, but Hell is FOREVER.
I don’t want you to go to Hell. It is not a matter of what we feel, nor of how we perceive things, nor of what men may say, nor of what religion says; but rather, “WHAT SAITH THE SCRIPTURE?” (Romans 4:3).
The Scripture warns in 2nd Thessalonians 1:8 that all those who perish in their sins, never having obeyed the Gospel, will suffer the eternal wrath of God in Hell (Greek: Gehenna, i.e., the Lake of Fire).We read in John 3:36, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but THE WRATH OF GOD ABIDETH ON HIM.”
Romans 5:9, “Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be SAVED FROM WRATH THROUGH HIM [Jesus Christ].” Romans 1:18 and 2:5, “For THE WRATH OF GOD is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness … But after thy hardness and impenitent heart TREASUREST UP UNTO THYSELF WRATH against the DAY OF WRATH and revelation of the righteous JUDGMENT OF GOD.” How much clearer could the Bible be that judgment day is coming?
How much plainer could the Scriptures be that God’s wrath is laid up against the unsaved?Revelation 20:10 teaches that Satan will be cast into the Lake of Fire FOREVER, “And the devil that deceived them [the world] was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone [lava], where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”
Revelation 21:8, “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the LAKE WHICH BURNETH WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE: which is the SECOND DEATH.”The Bible is abundantly clear on this matter… HELL IS FOREVER FOR ALL CHRIST-REJECTERS! As we read in Romans 5:9, we are justified by Christ’s blood, i.e., by HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, and thus spared from the wrath of God.
We have no self-righteousness of our own to offer God (Isaiah 64:6); therefore, we need the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ. Romans 4:6, “Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God IMPUTETH RIGHTEOUSNESS WITHOUT WORKS.” Amen!
That means when a lost sinner acknowledges their guilt of sin and places their trust solely in Jesus Christ to forgive their sins, God the Father imputes (charges) Christ’s righteousness to that person’s record in Heaven. From that point on God views that person as having the righteousness of Jesus Christ. Thus, the Christian believer is saved entirely by Christ’s work of redemption, and not by any self-righteousness we have done or think we ever could do.We cannot.
Salvation is entirely of the Lord God.Our part is simply to acknowledge our debt of sin and believe on Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God.Hell is FOREVER.Think about that. Even after 1,000,000,000,000 years will have passed, it won’t even be the beginning of your punishment.
Are you willing to take the risk that the Bible is wrong? Are you willing to risk spending all eternity burning in the flames of Hell, just because you cannot comprehend how a loving God could punish someone in flaming fire forever?
Please understand, God doesn’t allow lost sinners to go to Hell; but rather, God sends them there deliberately and takes His anger out upon them. This is exactly what the Bible teaches and you had better make sure you are saved, or you will be punished FOREVER in the fires of Hell.
The good news (which is exactly what the word Gospel means) is that God, in His unconditional love, sent His only begotten Son into the world to pay our sin debt. What a wonderful God! If you go to Hell, it will only be because you chose to go there. Eternal life is the gift of God (Romans 6:23).
Salvation is freely given (Romans 5:15), freely offered (Romans 10:13), and freely received (Revelation 22:17). Salvation is receiving, not giving. I hope and pray for the salvation of lost sinners, for that is why Jesus came into the world.
There is nothing dearer to the heart of God than preaching the Gospel… “the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth” (Romans 1:16). Please don’t go to Hell. You don’t have to. Your sin debt is paid, but you must receive the gift of God by placing your faith in Jesus as the Christ, i.e., the Messiah, the Saviour.
There is NO salvation apart from faith alone in the name of Jesus (Acts 4:10-12).Acts 10:43, “To Him [Jesus] give all the prophets witness, that through His name whosoever believeth in Him shall receive remission of sins.” The decision is yours alone to make.
Hell is forever … think about that!

The Bible, God’s holy Word, teaches that there is a literal place called Hell, which burns with fire and brimstone (sulfur). Most theologians agree that Hell is located somewhere in the heart of the earth, evidenced by numerous Biblical references; such as:

So many people today have been misled by false prophets to believe that a God of love would never send anyone to a place of eternal punishment and torment.Yet we see suffering all around the world, horrible suffering, and no relief for millions of people. Think about it for a moment . . . burning in the fires of Hell, separated from Jesus and all your family, being lonely and disappointed for all eternity, knowing that you could have went to Heaven FOR FREE if you’d only trusted upon Jesus Christ and the blood that He sacrificed for your sins . . .“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”
You Need HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.I beg you, don’t wait another minute.Cry out to God now whoever you may be.Acknowledge your guilt of sin.Own up to God that you are a horrible sinner, guilty, and without excuse.
Turn to the Lord by faith and trust upon Him in your heart to forgive your sins, place all your confidence in Christ because of His work of redemption, and allow the blood of Jesus to cleanse away your sins,“. . . and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” Amen!

Jesus wasn’t just some baby for a manger scene.He is God come in the flesh to destroy the power of death and hell–He holds the keys, people!If you say yes to Jesus, hell won’t be your final destination. If you say no to Jesus, hell will be your eternal home. There is no getting out and no comfort–it’s everlasting.
Regardless of whether you believe it or not, hell exists and the Bible says that it is never full. I’ve heard folks say that hell is not mentioned in the Bible or that hell is just the grave.

Matthew 10:28, And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Luke 12:5, But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which AFTER he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
Matthew 18:8, 9 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or feet to be cast into everlasting fire. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
Matthew 25:46, And these shall go away into EVERLASTING punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Psalm 9:17, The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
Isaiah 14:99-11, 15 (referring to Lucifer), Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee…all they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us? Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee…thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
Daniel 12:2, And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and EVERLASTING contempt.

You Will Burn in Hell!

The Bible says that hell was created for the devil and his demons, not for one single human being (Matthew 25:41).Unfortunately, when Adam sinned he allowed sin into the world.
We were born sinful by nature, unable to fellowship with God.We are sinners.Our spirit is dead in trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2:2).
When we believe on Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour, to forgive us of all our sins, then we become born-again (John 3:3).
To be “born-again” means to have the Spirit of Jesus Christ born in us. When we place our complete faith in Christ, the Holy Spirit of God literally unites with our spirit which was once dead and we become a new creature, a child of God. Now we can truly worship God in spirit and truth (John 4:24).
Notice our Scripture verse above from Revelation 20:14-15. The book of Revelation predicts the future, it is history written in advance.

Salvation happens when a person acknowledges their guilt of sin, coming to God on the basis of being a hell-deserving sinner; believing on Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God to forgive their sins (Acts 10:43).
Salvation is receiving; not giving. Eternal life is the gift of God (Romans 6:23). Salvation is freely given (Romans 5:15), freely offered (Romans 10:13), and freely received (Revelation 22:17).
We are saved solely by Christ’s righteousness, which is through faith in His precious blood that washes our sins away. If you come to God as a guilty sinner, and believe on the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness, then you will be saved.
All God the Father asks is that you come to Him THROUGH His dear Son, Jesus, the Christ, for forgiveness.

It is tragic that billions of people are going to be tormented in the fires of Hell for all eternity, when they could have freely received the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23; Romans 4:5; John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8,9).

An “abomination” is something that really makes the Lord upset, Hispet peeves so-to-speak.
Though it may be hard for some people to comprehend, God does hate some things. God hates evil and He commands those who love God to also hate evil…

The wicked people in this world who live in unrepentant sin against God refuse to accept this truth. God hates evil and commands all believers to hate evil. The wicked attempt to REDEFINE God by corrupting the Bible and twisting the truth (Romans 1:25).
God hates a false witness that speaketh lies (Proverb 6:19).God is a Holy God and His love NEVER condones our sin! It was God’s love that sent Jesus Christ into the world to pay for our sins. Apart from the redeeming work of Christ upon the cross, mankind would have been doomed to Hell forever.

You see, when you decide to live godly in Christ Jesus, the world will turn on you and hate you, sometimes even your own relatives…“

We hear much talk nowadays about Jesus’ teachings on love, peace and turning the other cheek; BUT Jesus plainly stated that He DIDN’T come come to bring peace… “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword” (Matthew 10:34). Do you know why? It’s because God wants us to be divided over truth; rather than united by error. As believers, we ought to love the Truth and proclaim It.
“For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” —John 3:20
The Bible teaches that it is wrong to harbor envy and hatred towards others. This type of hatred is wrong; however, there is also a Biblical hatred for sin that every believer SHOULD have, just as the Lord Himself hated iniquity…
“Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows” (Hebrews 1:9).
In order to have the capacity to love, one must also have the capacity to hate. This is called the “Reciprocating Law of Life.” In order for one to experience extreme happiness, one must also experience extreme sadness.
You can’t know true joy unless you’ve endured true sorrow. Misery begets joy and happiness if we’ll continue trusting the Lord and never quit. Joy cometh in the morning… ”For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning” (Psalm 30:5).
A true Christian should possess a PROPER hatred towards sin, while also maintaining a PROPER love towards sinners. God is our Example—no one hates sin as much as God; yet no one loves sinners more than God.
God is the Perfection of love and hate.Yes, we should hate all forms of evil as Christians; but we are displeasing God if we do not genuinely love the sinner at the same time.We should never hate people.
God loves people; but He equally hates sin.When the Bible says that God is angry with the wicked, it never says anything about hating the wicked.It’s critically important for us all to recognize the difference between hating something that is harmful or evil and hatred itself.
God hates fornication and homosexuality; but God certainly does NOT hate homosexuals or fornicators.

The love is directed towards the sinner; but the hatred towards the sin. It is not uncommon for a teenager to feel that the parents don’t love them for setting rules and curfews. This is because teenagers are still young and often don’t recognize the hidden dangers of sin that their parents do see.

Look at all the suffering in the world today. If God allows mankind to suffer because of his own sins here upon the earth, then you can be assured that it will hold true in eternity as well.

God is a holy God—a morally perfect God who is incapable of doing wrong. God is a good God, whose holiness demands justice. As such, sinful men must be punished for violating God’s holy Law.
This is why we read in Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death…” Mankind is inherently sinful and deserves to be punished in Hell. Adam brought sin and death into the world by his own sin (Romans 5:12).
We are all sinners, incapable of pleasing God in our own self-righteousness (Romans 3:10-23; Isaiah 64:6; Ephesians 2:8,9).Thankfully, God sent His only begotten Son into the world (John 3:16) to pay for our sins with His own blood (1st Peter 1:18,19; Acts 20:28).
Jesus came into the world in the flesh, i.e., the Godhead became incarnate (John 1:1-3,14; 1st Timothy 3:16; Colossians 2:9). God did this because He loves us . . .

Having said that, I want all my web visitors to know that I love you too, with God’s unconditional love that He has shed abroad in my heart… “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” (Romans 5:5).
I preach against sin because I love God, and He has commanded each believer to do so (Psalm 94:16; Ephesians 5:11). The idea that love is all that matters, and critical doctrinal differences are a minor issue, is utter apostasy. There are many people today who go around talking about God’s love, who have absolutely no regard for the doctrine of Christ, the plan of salvation, nor the Christian faith. They are unsaved Modernists who know not the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Bible teaches in 2nd Thessalonians 3:6 that a Christian should SEPARATE from any professed believer who lives in sin… “Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition [i.e., the Word of God] which he received of us.“ And again we are warned in 1st Corinthians 5:9-11… “I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.“
But you say, “Wait a minute buster. Wasn’t Jesus was a friend of sinners, Who ate with them and befriended them?”Yes, that is certainly true; but Jesus DIDN’T keep company with sinners.The Greek word for “company” in 1st Corinthians 5:11 is
sunanamignumi and means “to be intimate with.”Although Jesus ate with sinners in order to express God’s love and to bring them the Gospel; Jesus DIDN’T travel with sinners, or partake of their sinful habits, or become intimately involved with them personally.
In sharp contrast, Jesus had an intimate relationship with the Apostles, i.e., they traveled with Jesus, and spent much time with Him, and knew Jesus better than others. To say that Jesus was a constant companion of unrepentant sinners is blasphemy. Jesus befriended sinners, teaching them the Truth; but Christ DIDN’T partake of their drunken parties, lewd festivals, and sinful ways.
Jesus hated sin and wasn’t passive towards it. We learn in John 2:15 that Jesus even became violent over sin… “And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables.“ When’s the last time you got that angry over sin?
It is a sin to portray Jesus Christ as Someone who never spoke a negative Word about sin, evil or corruption. Jesus plainly warned against “false prophets” in Matthew 7:15. In Matthew 23:17,19 Jesus called the Pharisees “fools.”In John 8:44, Jesus told the religious leaders that their father was Satan.In Matthew 16:23 Jesus rebuked the Apostle Peter, calling him “Satan.” Jesus said what needed to be said, when it needed to be said. Jesus hated sin and spoke out against it.
In John 4:18 Jesus confronted the woman at the well about her 5 husbands, and her new boyfriend. Jesus didn’t avoid the subject of sin like many preachers do today.
In Matthew 23:23 Jesus rebuked the unsaved religious leaders, “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.“ Jesus preached against hypocrisy, false religion, and self-righteousness!
In the absence of Light, darkness prevails.This is why Jesus continually spoke the Truth everywhere He went. It made many of the Jews angry at Jesus… “And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?” (John 10:20). Can you imagine… people calling God Who created them crazy and of the Devil? Whom do you say that Jesus is… Liar, Lunatic, or Lord?
Jesus hated iniquity.He spoke out against injustice and evil.Christ Jesus wasn’t a pacifist Who kept silent concerning sin.Jesus Christ was a man’s man, and always addressed the issue of sin when He dealt with people.This is why the Pharisees brought the woman taken in the very act of adultery to Jesus (John 8:3).They knew that Jesus preached against sin, and hoped that He would condemn her; BUT Jesus never condemned anyone (John 3:17).
Jesus hates iniquity; BUT He loves people, even those who sin horribly… “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.“
Thankfully, God doesn’t love us because of who we are; but rather, because of Who He Is.This is why Jesus was willing to die upon the cross for our sins, knowing exactly how rotten we are, because He loves us for Who He Is.
What a Precious Saviour!
Sin Brings the Penalty of Death.You must realize and admit to God that because of YOUR OWN SINFULNESS, you are under the CONDEMNATION OF GOD and are DESERVING of the PENALTY of HELL FIRE and DAMNATION.
Satan is that murderous thief.
Do not the righteous also go to the grave? If the word “hell” only means “grave,” then both the wicked and the righteous go to the same place. Only a fool would say such a thing.
The Bible warns us about a place called hell that burns with FIRE AND BRIMSTONE.
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” -Revelation 21:8
Perhaps you say “I don’t believe that nonsense about hell.”Read Revelation 21:8 again and you’ll find the word “unbelieving.” if you don’t believe on the Lord Jesus Christ to save you, then you will burn for all eternity in the Lake of Fire someday.
This will be because you died in your SINS…never having them forgiven by the blood of Jesus, Who died upon the cross for you. I have to admit that this seems like cruel and unusually punishment, but I didn’t write the Bible…God did!
The Word of God warns us that UNBELIEVERS will have their permanent part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.
The center of the earth is hotter than the surface of the sun.Is it worth the gamble to discredit the Bible, and risk burning in hell for all eternity?

There is a dreaded second death my friend, it will worse than your scariest nightmare (and you’ll never be able to wake up from it).
The FIRST death is a physical death when they bury you six-feet underground. However, the SECOND death is when God has his angels cast your soul into outer darkness forever. There will be no light in hell, only darkness…
“But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” -Matthew 8:12
Oh the loss of life, the torment, the misery. Can you image how awful hell must be? A place so terrifying that it’s prisoners cry continually and gnash their teeth because of the excruciating pain.

The Word of God describes Hell as a PLACE of tormentous, suffering and agony.
In Mark 9:43,44 Jesus warned of the danger of being cast “…into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.”
In Matthew 8:11-12, Jesus prophecies of the future time when He shall return to set up His earthly Kingdom.
The saved will enter into the Millennial Kingdom of Heaven.. “And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.”
Concerning the unsaved, Jesus said… “But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
This describes Hell–a place of DARKNESS, WEEPING, and GNASHING OF TEETH. Oh! How horrible!
We are warned by God in 2nd Thessalonians 1:8, “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
How much clearer could the Bible, God’s Word, be concerning the reality and indescribable suffering of a literal Hell?
The Word of God teaches that those presently in Hell will one day be delivered before The Great White Throne of Judgment (Revelation 20:11-15), judged according to their works, sentenced, and then finally cast into the Lake of Fire for all eternity.
There are 3 different Greek meanings for the English word “Hell” in the New Testament.
Hades Gehenna always refers to the Lake of Fire. always refers to the present place of Hell, and
In Revelation 20:14, it says that Hades was cast into Gehenna, or … Hell was cast into the Lake of Fire. Thus, if you die in your sins without the blood of Jesus having taken your sins away, you WILL BE CAST INTO GEHENNA!
This doom is the second death. So if you’re born ONCE, you die TWICE; but if you’re born TWICE, then you only die ONCE.Ye must be born again!
The worst thing about the Lake of Fire won’t be the flames of torment, the darkness, the gnashing of teeth, or the screams of the damned. No, the worst thing about Hell will be that it NEVER ENDS!
A lot of believers mistake the second death for spiritual death.The truth is that you are ALREADY spiritually dead if you have never been born-again. If you die in your sins without Christ, then you will be cast into the lake of Fire, which is the second death (Revelation 21:8).
Even after one trillion years (i.e., 1,000,000,000,000 years!), your eternity in the flames and torments of Hell won’t even have begun.
Think about that for a moment, please! Are you willing to risk spending all eternity, WITHOUT END, burning in the flames of Hell? Why would you take such a chance?
I hear unsaved people bragging that they want to go to Hell to party.I can assure you that no one will be enjoying Hell even in the least degree!
Hell will be a place of God’s flaming vengeance, because you deliberately rejected His free gift of eternal life (2nd Thessalonians 1:8).
Romans 6:23 states… “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
I also think one of the most painful things about Hell is going to be the knowledge that you could have went to Heaven for FREE, but you arrogantly and defiantly spit in God’s face by rejecting Christ as your Saviour. Why go to Hell when you don’t have to?
Going to Heaven doesn’t require you to live a religious life. You don’t have to give up anything to be saved, not even your unbelief.
In Mark 9:24 we read, “And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.” The father had faith in spite of his doubt, and the Lord healed his son.
I don’t care how much doubt you may have, if you REPENT (i.e., turn) in your heart to the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sins, He will save you.
How much faith do you need to be saved? … just enough to obey the Gospel and trust upon the Lord, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
One of the worst things about Hell will be the awareness that you could have gone to Heaven simply by believing upon Jesus as your Saviour, but you said “NO”!
In John 14:6 Jesus adamantly declares,“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Please don’t go to Hell. If you do, you will spend eternity there, with NO HOPE of escape–not today, not tomorrow, not 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 years from now!!! And to think, you could have gone to Heaven, simply by placing your faith in Jesus, who shed His precious blood to take away all your sins…
“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot” (1st Peter 1:18,19). Will the Lake of Fire be your eternal doom?
“And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” -Revelation 20:13-1
WE EARN DEATH by the SINS WE HAVE COMMITTED, “For the WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH” (Romans 6:23).
The Scriptures declare that those who die without CHRIST AS THEIR SAVIOR WILL DIE A SECOND DEATH as well as a first death. If you are NOT saved, you are already spiritually dead.
You are simply awaiting your future home in hell, the second death. You need to do absolutely nothing to go to hell, but you must be born-again to go to heaven.
The Bible speaks of a second death… “But the fearful, and UNBELIEVING, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and ALL LIARS, shall have their part in THE LAKE WHICH BURNETH WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE: which is the SECOND DEATH” (Revelation 21:8). “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the SECOND DEATH hath no power” (Revelation 20:6).
How many people does a person have to kill to be considered a murderer? Obviously, JUST ONE! So likewise, how many lies does a person have to tell to be a liar? Again, JUST ONE!
Revelation 21:8 tells us that ALL LIARS will have their part in the SECOND DEATH (THE LAKE OF FIRE).
James 2:10 affirms this, “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in ONE POINT, he is GUILTY OF ALL.”
Once Adam and Eve had committed sin, they were bound for an earthly grave as well as an eternal grave in hell forever.
Hell is the destiny of all those who are spiritually dead when they die. If you die in your sins, it is too late. It is also worthy to mention that Adam and Eve only committed ONE SIN; thus, disobeying God. What was their horrible sin? Eating some fruit!
It is common for people today to diminish the wickedness of sin. We must NOT make the sin of deciding how sinful sin is—ALL sin is wicked and wrong because ALL sin is rebellion against God.
Adam and Eve were not degenerate people before they sinned, they were perfect and upright. This teaches us that NO ONE is above sin.
We ALL have the potential to sin, no matter how close we walk with God. The old sin nature CANNOT be tamed!
There seems to be a misunderstanding concerning spiritual death. May I say, the “second death” is NOT the same thing as “spiritual death.” If you are NOT saved, you are already spiritually dead.
The “second death” is when you die and go to hell. Let me say again, if you are not saved—You are already spiritually dead! Your already a child of hell. That’s why you need to get saved, so you can have spiritual life anew in Jesus Christ.
Without Christ, you are of the Devil. Those who are NOT saved have the spirit of Satan working in them, “And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, THE SPIRIT THAT NOW WORKETH IN THE CHILDREN OF DISOBEDIENCE” (Ephesians 2:1,2).
Satan has the great power of influence upon this old sin-cursed world. The Bible teaches that the natural (unsaved) man is prone to follow worldly philosophies and entertainment (which are really Satan’s teachings and activities).
People who are spiritually dead (unsaved) are naturally inclined to heed the Devil’s call because he is bankrupt of any goodness or integrity.
Satan’s voice prompts his children to selfish thoughts, self-centered activities and self-righteous religion.Satan is the father of all liars and murderers!
The Devil’s goal for each of us to keep us from doing God’s will. Satan has NO WILL for your life, he wants you to do “your own thing.” In so doing, you have forgotten about God. The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.
The bottom line is this, WE MUST ALL STAND BEFORE THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF GOD SOMEDAY… “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this THE JUDGMENT” (Hebrews 9:27). ARE YOU READY?
The teaching of Hell may not be popular in the new millennium but it is a clear Bible teaching.
Let’s look at some Scripture references concerning ETERNAL PUNISHMENT.
“…suffering the vengeance of ETERNAL FIRE” (Jude 7).
“And others save with fear, pulling them out of the FIRE; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh” (Jude 23).
“…for their worm shall not die, NEITHER SHALL THEIR FIRE BE QUENCHED…” (Isaiah 66:24).
“Where their WORM DIETH NOT, and the FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED” (Mark 9:44).
“…Whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in DANGER OF HELL FIRE” (Matthew 5:22).
“And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather FEAR HIM which is able to DESTROY BOTH SOUL AND BODY IN HELL” (Matthew 10:28).
Notice from the Scripture we just read that God has the power to destroy both our soul as well as our body. If “hell” only refers to the grave, then why should we FEAR. If the worst thing that can happen to me is to be annihilated (non-existent), then why in the world should I FEAR?
This is the erroneous teaching of the Jehovah Witnesses. They are dead wrong! I always say the same thing to a Jehovah’s Witness, “If you’re right about Hell, I’ll just be dead and unconscious someday; But if the Bible is right about Hell, you’ll burn in hell-fire for ALL ETERNITY.”
So which road am I safer on, the Jehovah’s Witnesses road or the Bibles?
I’ll take the Bible road any day!
“Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the DAMNATION OF HELL?” (Matthew 23:33).
“And these shall go away into EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT: but the righteous into life eternal” (Matthew 25:46).
If there is no consciousness in the grave of the dead, then how can one’s punishment be everlasting?
The Bible must be taken at face value, it says what it means and means what it says. The Bible has much to say about hell.
The Bible has more to say about hell than it does about heaven, read it for yourself.
We are CONDEMNED ALREADY and the WRATH OF GOD is upon us IF we have NOT accepted CHRIST AS OUR PERSONAL SAVIOUR.
Listen to the Words of John the Baptist,
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but THE WRATH OF GOD ABIDETH ON HIM” (John 3:36).
“God judgeth the righteous, and GOD IS ANGRY WITH THE WICKED EVERY DAY.”
(Psalm 7:11). If you die in your sins, you must face the TERROR OF GOD.
“Knowing therefore the TERROR OF THE LORD, we persuade men” (2nd Corinthians 5:11).
The terror is NOT for the Believer but for the unbeliever. “And they journeyed: and the TERROR OF GOD was upon the cities that were round about them, and they did not pursue after the sons of Jacob” (Genesis 35:5).
“It is a FEARFUL THING to fall into the hands of the living God” (Hebrews 10:31).
For anyone to say that there is no hell or that hell does not have fire is a foolish thing indeed.
What fear is there in facing God if there is no Hell which burns with fire. There is no fear in annihilation (ceasing to exist).No, Hell is very real.
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, PREPARED FOR THE DEVIL AND HIS ANGELS (Matthew 25:41).
It is NOT God’s will that anyone should perish in their sins and go to Hell… “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH, but that ALL should come to REPENTANCE” (2nd Peter 3:9).
It is NOT God’s fault if men and women are stubborn and unwilling to REPENT of their unbelief. Hell was NOT created for human beings but rather for Satan and his horde of demons.
We are ALL without excuse for the wrong decisions we make in life—we CANNOT blame God. Perhaps other humans influenced us to make some wrong decisions but that’s not God’s fault.
I often tell people, “Don’t give up on God because men fail you.” Let Job be our example, “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him” (Job 13:15).What a statement!
Demons KNOW That Their Day of Judgment is Coming
And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.
And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither TO TORMENT US BEFORE THE TIME?” (Matthew 8:28,29).
All demons know that judgment day is coming for them. These demons in Matthew chapter eight were afraid that Jesus was going to confine them to the pits of hell before their time was come.Evidently some angels are so wicked that God has bound them in chains, awaiting the Day of Judgment.
We read of such angels in Jude,“And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath RESERVED IN EVERLASTING CHAINS under darkness unto the judgment of the great day” (Jude 6).
Jesus had the power to send these demons to the everlasting chains of confinement.
“For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down TO HELL, and delivered them into CHAINS of darkness, TO BE RESERVED unto judgment” (2nd Peter 2:4).
Even Satan himself will be bound in chains during the one-thousand-year millennial reign of Christ upon the earth,“And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and A GREAT CHAIN in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years” (Revelation 20:1,2).
So we learn that Hell was only intended to be the place of reservation for the fallen angels.Demons Acknowledge That Hell is a Place of Torment
Notice that the demons in Matthew 8:29 asked Jesus if He had come to TORMENT them.Hell is a place of torment. The demons know that judgment day is approaching.
Presently, many of the demons are free to roam about through the earth. We see this in 1st Peter 5:8,“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the Devil, as a roaring lion, WALKETH ABOUT, seeking whom he may devour.”
Satan is alive and well folks! The Devil wants to render you useless for God, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…” (John 10:10).
Satan is that murderous thief.
We are told in Revelation 12:12,“Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but A SHORT TIME.”
Satan’s days are numbered!This particular Scripture verse is referring to Satan’s mischief during the tribulation period.
The Devil is always good for nothing and up to something. Satan knows the Bible better than any human being but is a rejecter of the truth—he is full of hatred and deliberately changes and counterfeits the truth.
After the seven-year Tribulation Period, Satan knows that He will be bound in chains for one thousand years. This time of Satan’s rage during the last three and a half years of the Tribulation Period is known as the time of “Great Tribulation.” The Bible warns of the atrocities of that coming time.
Demons Tremble and Fear God.Also notice in Matthew 8:29 that the demons said,
“what have we to do with Thee, Jesus, thou Son of God?” In other words, “we’re minding our own business, why are you here?” The demons fear God!
We read in James 2:19, “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and TREMBLE.”
The fallen angels know that their time of judgment is inevitably approaching. Hell was created for the Devil and his angels as a jail to contain them until the judgment.
Why certain angels are free to roam the earth and others are reserved in chains unto judgment?—the Bible does not say.
We’ve seen already from the Scriptures we’ve studied that demons are afraid of Jesus, afraid of being tormented before their time.
We read these interesting words in Revelation 20:14, “And DEATH AND HELL were cast into the lake of fire.
This is the second death.” How can Hell be cast into the Lake of Fire? How can death be cast into the Lake of Fire? There are two different Greek words used here.
The Lake of Fire is the Greek word Gehenna. The word “hell” in Revelation 21:14 is the Greek word Hades.
So we learn from the Bible that Hades will be cast into Gehenna. Hades is a temporary place, but Gehenna will be the eternal home of the damned.
Hell is a jail where the unsaved await trial and sentencing before being cast into the prison of the Lake of Fire.
Please understand that if you are not a Believer—you are already condemned! …“He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is CONDEMNED ALREADY, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:18).
Death is man’s great enemy! All the wealth, fame and worldly enjoyments a person may experience in this lifetime CANNOT go with them beyond the grave.
Once you’re dead, it’s over! It’ll be too late to live for God when you are six-feet-under.
Death means SEPARATION.The first death is the SEPARATION of body from soul and spirit. This is true of the saved and of the unsaved because we must ALL experience the first death.
Only the unsaved must experience the second death. If you’re a Believer, you will receive your resurrected incorruptible body at the Rapture (before the Tribulation Period); If you’re NOT a Believer, then your body will be resurrected after the Millennium to stand before God at The Great White Throne of Judgment.
“And the sea gave up THE DEAD which were in it; and death and hell delivered up THE DEAD which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works” (Revelation 20:13).
There will be a reuniting of the body, soul and spirit at The Great White Throne of Judgment. Body, soul and spirit will all be cast into the Lake of Fire.
The Bible makes reference to the body being destroyed in Hell…“And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy BOTH SOUL AND BODY in hell” (Matthew 10:28).
The second death is a SEPARATION of your body, soul and spirit from God for ALL ETERNITY! How sad. If man will not accept the gift of eternal life from God, then he will receive the only other alternative—eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire.
God never created mankind to be put in such a horrible place, but there is no other place for him. Hell was created for the Devil and his angels.I take it that this is a place where God never goes.The second death means eternal and absolute separation from God.
We read of the rich man who went to hell in Luke 16:19-31. He died in his sins. Let’s read this factual account in the Scriptures . . .
“There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And IN HELL he lift up his eyes, being in TORMENTS, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and COOL MY TONGUE; for I AM TORMENTED IN THIS FLAME. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art TORMENTED.
And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of TORMENT.
Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, IF THEY HEAR NOT MOSES AND THE PROPHETS, NEITHER WILL THEY BE PERSUADED, THOUGH ONE ROSE FROM THE DEAD.”
Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, IF THEY HEAR NOT MOSES AND THE PROPHETS, NEITHER WILL THEY BE PERSUADED, THOUGH ONE ROSE FROM THE DEAD.”
Notice, Jesus did NOT say this was a parable; therefore, WE MUST ACCEPT IT AS LITERAL! Also notice that in all of Jesus’ parables, He always referred to a “certain man” or a “far off country.” Jesus never used specific names in His parables. Jesus used specific names in this account: Lazarus and Abraham.
This is a factual account of something that happened.The word TORMENT(S) is found mentioned 3 times in verses 23, 25 and 28. Just as today, A MAN IS ONLY AS GOOD AS HIS WORD. We must believe then that JESUS SAID WHAT HE MEANT and MEANT WHAT HE SAID!
The rich man was not a criminal, he was not a drug dealer, he was not a murderer, etc. What was it that kept the rich man from getting saved? Ready for this? He thought he had heaven on earth so he didn’t take the Word of God seriously.
The rich man lived for himself. He could have cared less about the poor—people such as Lazarus.Lazarus was very poor and diseased. The rich man was very rich and stingy.
Lazarus ate the crumbs out of the garbage pail of the rich man.The rich man was selfish and self-centered but that’s not what sent him to hell. He went to hell because he never put his FAITH in Christ as Saviour.
He was guilty of the worst sin of all—UNBELIEF. He never stopped long enough to consider his ways and turn to God for the forgiveness of his sins.
He probably thought the preacher was a quack and the Word of God was just another religious book.Unfortunately, hell became his new home because of his wealthy pride that blinded him in unbelief.
Oh how many rich people are sadly in hell right now. “Go to now, YE RICH MEN, weep and howl for your MISERIES that shall come upon you” (James 5:1).
“For it is EASIER FOR A CAMEL TO GO THROUGH A NEEDLE’S EYE, than for a RICH MAN to enter into the kingdom of God” (Luke 18:25).
“For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the RICH MAN FADE AWAY IN HIS WAYS” (James 1:11).
The rich man is Luke sixteen which we just read about had no color TV set—he had no refrigerator, no telephone, no electricity, no car, no plumbing, no washer or dryer, no modern medicine, no camera, no CD player, no radio, etc.
By today’s standards he would be considered poor.Yet, he was called a “rich man” by God.I contend that we’re all very rich indeed and in danger of the same kind of fate that the rich man met—Eternal damnation in hell.Do you take the Word of God SERIOUSLY? Or do you take God’s Word lightly?
Let’s look at some more verses concerning hell.Jesus foretells of WEEPING and GNASHING OF TEETH, “…
..there shall be WEEPING and GNASHING OF TEETH” (Matthew 8:12).
“Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH” (Matthew 22:13).
“And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH” (Matthew 24:51).
“And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH” (Matthew 25:30).
“There shall be WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out” (Luke 13:28).
“And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the FIRE THAT NEVER SHALL BE QUENCHED: Where their worm dieth not, and the FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the FIRE THAT NEVER SHALL BE QUENCHED: Where their worm dieth not, and the FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into HELL FIRE: Where their worm dieth not, and the FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED” (Mark 9:43-48).
Do you really think Jesus would have spoken all these Words if hell didn’t have fire?
Let’s hear Jesus’ Words in John 14:2, “In my Father’s house are many mansions: IF IT WERE NOT SO, I WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU.Jesus said what He meant and meant what He said.
The Bible teaches that Hell is fire and eternal damnation.I’ve heard people contend that the word “hell” only means grave.In some places in the Bible this is true, but in most others it means hell fire and punishment.
Psalm 9:17 is a good example of where “hell” CANNOT mean simply “grave.” …“THE WICKED SHALL BE TURNED INTO HELL, and all the nations that forget God.”
Do not the righteous also go to the grave? If the word “hell” only means “grave,” then both the wicked and the righteous go to the same place. Only a fool would say such a thing.
In most cases in the Bible, the word “hell” implies damnation and fire.The wicked go to hell-fire and punishment, the righteous go to Heaven for life everlasting.
I believe the worst thing about hell won’t be the suffering and torment, it will be the constant realization that you could have been up in heaven serving a loving God for all eternity.
Oh how bitter the bitterness which will be inflicted upon those suffering in Hell, an eternity to sulk in regrets and resentments. Perhaps this is the “worm that dieth not” which we read about several times in the Scriptures—the conscience.
No one knows for sure what the “worms” are but whatever they are, I sure wouldn’t want to find out. The only safe place to be is in the everlasting arm of Jesus…“The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are THE EVERLASTING ARMS” (Deuteronomy 33:27).
“For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” —Revelation 19:13
Prophecy is history written in advance.God lives in eternity, were there is no time. This is why a day is as a thousand years with God, and a thousand years as a day.
2nd Peter 3:8 states, “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.“ Mankind lives within the framework of time. In fact, there is coming a day when time will cease. We read in Revelation 10:6, “…that there should be time no longer.“
Can you imagine a world without time?Here’s something you’ve probably never thought about … time will also cease to exist in Hell.
We’ve all heard the familiar saying, “Time heals all wounds.“Well, if you die in your sins without Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, then your wounds will never heal–because there will be NO time.Hell will have no end, because there will be no time. Without time, there can be no end.
This is why God has no beginning, “Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.“God has no beginning. God always was, and always will be.
It was Einstein who discovered that time slows down as velocity increases. Theoretically, on paper, Einstein submitted that time would stand still if a man could travel at the speed of light.
Various tests have been performed by scientists, which have shown that time does indeed slow down as speed increases.The implications are limitless and astounding to the human mind. Few people realize that a mere loaf of bread has enough energy in it to annihilate a large section of a city, if its nuclear power were released all at once.
Scientists use uranium and plutonium for nuclear power, only because those elements are naturally unstable, emitting constant showers of atoms.However, the same nuclear energy binds all of creation together.
Everything around you is composed of the same nuclear energy.The human mind cannot fathom the astronomical amount of energy in the universe. Mankind only has a small grasp of the greatness of God’s creation.
Mankind lives within the creation of time. God created time for man to live in; BUT, with God there is NO past, present, or future–because God lives in eternity, not time. This is why we read in Revelation 13:8, “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.“
Jesus had already been crucified in the eyes’ of God, before the world was ever spoken into existence. Why? … because God lives in eternity.Though this may seem difficult to grasp, it explains the unexplainable.
Mankind cannot comprehend how a universe could have evolved from NOTHING, which is scientifically impossible.The laws of thermodynamics prove that energy can be neither created nor destroyed. So where did the energy required to create a universe come from?
Doesn’t it make much more sense to accept 2nd Peter 3:5 by faith, which declares…“For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water.”
The Bible declares that the universe was created by the Word of God, Jesus Christ (John 1:1-3,10; Colossians 1:16).This makes infinite more sense, than for some idiot with a degree to claim that the universe JUST HAPPENED!Please!It doesn’t take a whole lot of sense to understand that life doesn’t just happen. Jesus is the reason for the seasons.
Science CANNOT explain where time originated.How can they?Can time have a beginning? No, it cannot.How could there have been a time when there was no time? Do you mean to tell me that the clock just started ticking at some point in nothingness? That’s as absurd as it is unscientific!
The only logical, and sensible, answer is a Divine God–an omnipotent (all-powerful) individual with incredible intelligence, brilliant craftsmanship, a sense of humor, and an abundantly good heart. God is so wonderful. And to think that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay for our sins with His own precious blood, “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” -1st Peter 1:18,19. Thank God for the blood of Jesus, which takes our sins away!
Again, we read in Revelation 10:6, “…that there should be time no longer.“ God lives in eternity; but man lives in time. Romans 8:29 states, “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.“
God knew in His foreknowledge, in eternity, who would one day be saved, and who wouldn’t. God NEVER chooses anyone to salvation.
Romans 10:13 declares, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.“It is abundantly clear that ANYONE can choose, by their own free will, to come to Christ for salvation. Jesus said in John 5:40, “And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.”
Notice that Jesus didn’t say, Ye cannot come; NO, Jesus said, “Ye will not come.” Anyone can be saved if they’ll come to the Savior for forgiveness of their sins.John 6:37, “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.“God knew in eternity, before the world began, who would be saved.
God predestinated those individuals to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. Again, Romans 8:29 states, “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son…”
Nothing is ever mentioned about being chosen to salvation.Again, if we understand the Biblical truth that God lives in eternity, it makes it much easier for us to understand other Biblical truths; such as predestination.God’s omnipotence is not limited by time.God truly has a time machine, that can go anywhere throughout time and space.
John 16:22, “And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.“ Amen!
